Literally thousands and thousands of high school and collegezentai catsuit kids donning these suits for everything from supporting their sporting teams to just goofing off, playing stupid games, and artistic poses!! Google morph suits and you’ll find an amazing number of real people into this and talking about it. With vitality of the net, social networking sites, and the like, what is one photo or person interested can translate into dozens more directly beyond that. This could take what we know as zentai to new stratosphere of interest.
I’m happy it’s becoming more common. I want to get into it for costuming purposes, and don’t want to be weird about it. Since I started this semester, I’ve seen Zentai on 3-4 occasions, even if they were morph suits. There was even one at the city’s zombie walk last week. This weekend I had some people ask my the spandex suitssame thing about morph suit and had one group of kids with the parents ask me if I was a guy or girl! Until I read that article I didn’t understand why Morph suits distance themselves from costume. I don’t like how they do it, but I respect them trying to distance themselves from the fetish aspect of Zentai. It’s much easier to be open about suit when people don’t see it as a “dirty fetish”… like furriers… I mean, really, do we want to be in that boat? From a media perspective, we’ve got the It’s Always Sunny gang on our side, they have… CSI… Think about it.
And I love how more and more people are getting used to the idea of zentai. Why, a couple of my friends said they wanted to buy a suit of their own whenShiny Metallic Zentai Suits they saw mine for the first time. I’d love to have a few more open zentai fans in the world. After all, I’ve never really seen or met another fan in person. I agree that they are doing it to drive business to their brand, however clearly states that they are doing it to distance themselves from the fetish aspects: “The mainstreaming of zentai has been welcomed by some who wear them for fetish purposes, though Morph suits has tried to distance itself from the fetishism side of the garments, Mr. Lawson says.”
